Custom Photography has come a REALLY long way. In a single shot, one can interpret and feel the exhausting love and devotion of a new mother and the powerless wonder on the face of a big strong man turned puddle of daddy. A clear, crisp shot is breathtaking and pure. A beautiful moment of family life captured, bottled and saved.

I do not know a lot about the Science of Photography myself. I don't play with light, lens, location to help urge that moment. But I have loved the children part my entire life. As adults we have moments where we really let ourselves sparkle and sometimes that moment is once or twice a year and sometimes it's more, sometimes less. For a child it's daily and sometimes more. It's their innocence, it's their love of life and their trust of it. And it's their sillies.

When I see a family shot, I look at the children. Do they look like the momma or the daddy? Do they look alike? Whats the story of this family? How old are they in relation to my kids? And then while others might look at the location, the light, the background, I am looking to see what everyone is wearing and how it fits together. There it is. The truth of it.

While I do not understand many of the technical aspects of photography, I seem to have a knack, and a definite appreciation for the shopping and the style of it.

My goal is to provide photographers the opportunity to focus on the details of photography they enjoy and are passionate about by alleviating the time and energy that discussing style options can sometimes impose.
