Vintage Clothing- Give it a go!

I finished this book a few months ago- a really great book! Beautiful characters and friendships, romance,etc and for my friends who love Vintage clothing, you are going to swoon over the shop in this book.

My mom brought the book over telling me to halt everything and read it! I finished in a weekend!
My mom is a lover of all things old and beautiful. She is one of those really cool people who knows the correct name for every kind of furniture (like "chaise" and "buffet" and "settee"). Growing up, our house was full of antiques. I love how romantic the pieces feel and I love how so much sweat and care went into them. The three of us, including my younger sister Niki, would pile on the couch year after year for the monumental presentation of "Anne Of Green Gables" on Wonder Works (yea for PBS!!).  I recently had the opportunity to meet Sarah from On Solid Ground Rentals. She is an antique lover and has turned her love into a rental business (smart girl!) and is off to a bustling start! She is a super sweet gal full of amazing ideas and I am so glad I got to meet her!

It seems like I come back to old things in spurts. Recently, I am definitely back in love. It seems like vintage romance is EVERYWHERE with its soft, blushing pinks and thin, whispering fabrics. If you aren't comfortable with wearing old items then there are vintage-inspired shops and individual items everywhere.

The prices make me gasp a little so I've been shopping Etsy to find unique things that work with the clothing I already have and wear often. It's been a fun new challenge! I found this top:
