A few weeks ago I plunged in and bought Adele's CD. Not only do I look forward to getting in the car and singing at the top of my longs but so do my kiddies.
Nobody gives a concert like my lovely, Amalia. Her favorite is "Rolling in the Deep".
Mine is "Set Fire to the Rain".
I love these lyrics
"I let it fall, my heart
and as it fell, you rose to claim it.
It was dark and I was over
until you kissed my lips and saved me
My hands, they were strong
but my knees were far to week
to stand in your arms without falling to your knees.
Doesn't that sound like Bella and Edward? If we are being honest, she is such a fool for him. He totally left her (that has always bugged me). Sure he thought it was best but still. That scene when she sits and watches the season's change- I love that but it is so heart shatteringly sad.
I suppose she does hurt him as deeply by kissing Jacob on the moutain.
Random much? Told ya.
Back to Adele:

Back to Adele:
I wish the rest of the song were this lovely and romantic but its def not !!
Don't you love Adele's style? Sooooo beautiful!
Outta nowhere but it's my blog so I'm sharing:
I went to see my Doc last night and we got to talking about nutrition. I asked her if she ate organic only and she said no she doesn't. I told her I'm too cheap to buy organic only. This morning I was thinking about handmade in general. I recently sighned up for Groop Dealz. They feature handmade at a discount like Groupon. This morning they emailed a great deal on a totally gorgeous handmade scarf for $12. The scarf is probably more like $15 + shipping on their Etsy site.
Many people tell me they don't shop handmade because it's more expensive. I want to smack them (lightly) because of course it is!! It's one of a kind, people. Then it hit me. I'm not one to judge.
A lot of people choose organic because it's handpicked, junk-free-one of a kind, not mass produced~if you will ;)
I appreciate that but...well.. I'd rather wear or gift my organic I guess... :S
Horrifically materialistic. Honestly, I am NOT big into waste or the American mindset of having 5 of everything. I live to simplify but when I buy, I want to buy good stuff which to me is clothes, accessories, toys, makeup and bath stuff that's been handmade...haven't done the $300 trips to Target in ages.
DOES THIS POST MAKE ANY SENSE?
No.
Eh, you were warned ;)
